Can the Apple TV buy in Japan use in Singapore

I want to buy my Apple TV 4G in Japan and also use it for other nations, is that possible like my MacBook?

I understand that you have a question about purchasing a new Apple TV and taking it to different countries. Your Apple TV will work wherever you take it, as long as you understand some things about the functionality of the device in different regions. First, in order for the Apple TV to work in another locale, it will have to be connected to power, which may mean that you need to consider an adapter that will allow the Apple TV to connect to power in your new locale. You will also need to change the region for iTunes Store functionality, if you desire your Apple TV to have that function in the new locale:

If you change to an Apple ID associated with a different country, you might not be able to access certain Apple features or services. You also might not see the same content or providers that you could see in your previous country.
