enabling photo extension app?

Bought an HDR app from the APP store so I could use it for photo editing. After installing the app I followed the instructions in photo editing, clicking on the new Extension option in the column of editing options, then chose More. This brings up a window listing Photo extensions. To the right of the list is supposed to be a selection of extensions to choose from, which in my case would be only this one HDR APP. BUT, underneath the Photo list in the window it says "not enabled" I have been trying to figure out how I 'Enable" this new app with no success. Where and how do I enable a third party photo editing app to allow me to integrate it into my normal iPhoto editing?

Help!!! 😕

Thanks!

Here is the link to the HDR app I bought.

When I open the same window you have in your reply, nothing comes up on the right hand side to choose from. Underneath "Photo"on the left side I have the message: "extensions not enabled". I just can't figure out how and where to enable extensions so the HDR Photo app will appear as a choice to use or select from the right hand side of the window.

That web page does not say, that the HDR application supports a photo editing extension. There are only a few photo editors that offer app extensions. See the one in my screenshot and the one in Old Toad's screenshot. I don't know of any others, that will install photo editing extensions for Photos, with the exception of Tonality.
