likely

1 mic for when you are holding it up to your ear

1 mic for when in speakerphone mode (this ones level should be more sensitive then the first one)

1 mic on the for recording with the back cam (this direction would be aimed at what you record)

I'll rephrase.

Obviously the bottom microphone picks up my voice for normal telephone calls since it's the microphone that's closest to my mouth. Is it the same if the headset jack is connected to my car stereo? Is it the same if the lightning jack is connected to a charger? (In both of those cases, I'm not likely to have the phone by my mouth.)

Which microphone is used to pick up the "Hey Siri" sounds? Is it the same if the headset jack is connected to my car stereo? Is it the same if the lightning jack is connected to a charger?

In case you're wondering, in the car, the phone will be connected to my stereo aux input and to a charger. I've experimented with several car mounts and the one that's the most convenient for me slightly blocks the bottom microphone.
