HomeKit enabled Philips hue bridge not found

I Just got the new HomeKit enabled Philips hue bridge and when I try to set up Siri voice control it gives me a message that says " unfortunately your HomeKit enabled bridge was not found. Make sure the bridge is powered on and correctly connected to your router." I have searched the Internet for this and can't find an answer. I bought the starter pack directly from apple

I'd contact Phillips support and see what you can work through with them.
