Aerial Screensaver is repeating video

I think you will need to reset the Apple TV for it refresh the video list. I did this a few days ago as mentioned in the other thread, and it is now working fine for me. New videos each day so far. The drawback is that I had to redownload all my apps, rearrange them, and sign back in to services like Netflix etc. Took me an hour or so to get everything back the way I wanted it.

Just wanted to add that I am also experiencing this problem. I am not restoring my whole Apple TV (which for SOME REASON cannot be backed up to iCloud) just to cure this simple problem.

Please Apple, fix this!

I had one new video today, six days after the last change, even though I've selected for daily updates. Still at least I got a little variety even if the other four videos that are cycling today are ones I've already seen. 😕

From my understanding it's random updates that Apple will pull and tvOS picks at random what video it displays.

That's happening to me too, every time that the aerial screensaver starts cycles one or two videos only. Next time will cycle one or two but could be different ones. I couldn't find any settings to fix it. Any hint would be appreciated.

At most it will alternate between 2 for a certain time of day. I know there are currently 34 different screensavers, but I just see the same 4 or 5 (in groups of 2) over and over every day. It's really kinda boring. I have the 64Gb and would really prefer to see the full collection alternated regularly.

All I ever see is San Francisco, NY, London and occasionally Hawaii. Where is Paris, Chicago, Rome, Hong Kong, Miami, Dubai, etc.? I have no restrictions on my internet service. This feature should not be hyped until Apple can correct the programming error that causes it to get stuck on 4 videos!

It depends on how often you selected to download new content. Each "clip" is roughly 200mb capacity is roughly 600mb So you get roughly 3 clips per download. If you choose monthly updates you will get the same videos all month. But if you change the setting to daily/weekly you will see more frequent changes to the clips. I have mine set for daily and I see the same 3 clips each day but every day those 3 are different. However as some people watch their data usage apple gives us the option to decide how much of our data plans we want to dedicate to the screensaver.. To prevent overcharges and or IDSP throttlin...

It's definitely either a bad programming choice or more likely a bug. I have it set to download Daily.

I get the "hazy San Francisco sunset" scene over and over and over, with nothing else. Previously I would see a few others mixed in from SF and London. But I've never once seen any from Hawaii, China, NY, or anywhere else. And even then it never played more than 2 at a time, alternating. Now I just get the one, always (and my internet connection on the device is fine).

I trie changing a bunch of settings on the screensaver, changing it to photos, etc., nothing worked to get it rotating random aerial video again.

Take it to Apple for testing? I have it set for daily and everyday I have a different 2-4 that pop up. After additional searching, if looks like there are about 35 different clips available and the largest is around 300mb. So depending on what clips Apple has queued on the server for that day there could be as few as 2 or as many as 4...

I have the same problem. I have it set to daily but I keep getting the same video of London constantly.
