how to add pictures to a speech bubble
Hey guys does anyone know how to add pictures or videos to a speech bubble? i checked one tutorial but i don't have that option. i use final cut pro 10.2.2.

hi tom... i tried this one... i can't find this option "use drop zone" and everything that comes after. actually, there are many things different in this version compared to mine

TThat's a third party plugin from Ripple Training. You have to buy it from their web site. If you want to get those, that's certainly the simplest way to do it. IF you make your own bubble you can do it in FCP with composite modes.
you can accomplish something similiar with FCPX (and MacOS) own tools:
#1 is your clip you want to apply a bubble
#2 is the bubble - MacOS' own Preview has in its annontation-tool such a talking bubble…
#3 is the content for within the bubble; apply Effects/Masks/Picture Mask and use the same pic for the mask dwel.
use Transformation for size & postion ...
less convenient than a dropzone generator, but hey, home-brewn in your own DIY hobby shop.... 😉
