how do I manually delete a word from the dictionary?

My laptop auto fills incorrect spelling of words from my computer.

How do I edit or correct the miss spelled word so it will stop auto filling the wrong spelling or user name?

Right click the misspelled word and choose "Unlearn Spelling".

Thanks but it did not work.

How else can I access the dictionary to remove incorrect words or spellings?

Is there any other idea or way to do this. I do not get an unlearn spelling menu or any thing that says unlearn spelling. Please help.

AS in the above Stutter back should be Stuttback. No space. And my email is auto filled and spelled wrong.

Can you try this please?

Open TextEdit.

Type Stuttback. Right click on it and choose Learn Spelling".

Email

If the problem is not corrected automatically,

you may have to create a new account or sub account with correct name.

Thanks but I can not get the Learn Spelling selection to show or the Unlearn spelling selection for that matter.

What am I doing wrong?

I have OX 10.11.1
