why are my attachments being removed in messages?

iPhone 6s Plus OS 9.1

Many message problems:

1) will not receive anything thing that has been copied and pasted - like pics or clips or anything that has been inserted

it shows up something like this [cid:image002.png@01D11BDD.BCpABDA0] (it seems to always be cid:image002.png@)

2) removes every attachment - it shows up like this [Attachment(s) removed]

3) sometimes I do not receive the whole message - should have received 10 lines and only received 3 lines, should have received 15

and only received 4 lines, should have received 25 lines and only received 6 lines (it is very sporadic and it isn't every email)

What do I do to fix these problems?

I have tried: Reset Network Settings

on and off LTE

on and off Cellular Data

powered phone off and on

shut down app and reopened

on and off iMessage

on and off MMS Messaging

Nothing has worked.

Also, I keep getting the window that says something like iPhone not backed up not enough storage Upgrade iCloud Storage but it

never seems to happen.

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.1

To upgrade iCloud storage you have to actually do it. It doesn't happen automatically, and it isn't free.

There is a bug in the mail app in iOS 9.0.x and 9.1 where attachments and message contents are not saved properly. We're hoping it will be fixed in 9.2 when it comes out.
