How do I delete encrypted iPhone Backup so I can make a new, unencrypted one
I am switching today from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 6 S Plus. When I tried to restore my iPhone 6S Plus from the iPhone 6 backup, I saw that the old iPhone 6 backup was encrypted. I do not know the password anymore and also not the password of my Apple keyring. So I googled and found out, that I need to delete the old iPhone 6 local backup which I did. But even after it´s deleted I still need to enter the (forgotten) password, when I want to make a new local backup from my iPhone 6 (that I can then use to build my iPHone 6S Plus from.
Can anyone tell me how I can get to being able to do a new, unencrypted iPhone (6) backup after having forgotten my password ?
Thanks !
Simon
