iPhone 6s dust under screen

Is anybody else experiencing dust on the top let corner under the screen? my iPhone 6s got replaced 9 days ago, snd the new one is starting to get dust under the screen, same spot.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.1

The best thing you can do is to return it to Apple so it can be seen by a professional ...

But there are other ways too.

  • If you have had experience just simply take the screen off…(seriously not recommended guaranty will be avoided)
  • Look closely and make sure it is actually dust!!!(It might be dead or damaged pixels.)

Initially I thought I received a faulty device but after wasting hours with Apple and Optus; I realised this is a design fault by Apple.


Went to G Bar few times before they agreed to give me a replacement instead of repair but same issue appeared in 2 days on new device I received from Apple. Dust building top left of the screen. Not sure why Apple keep telling dead cells when it’s clearly visible dust.


Keeping the mobile in silent seems making the situation worse. I guess the dust is going in from around the silent button.


Time to return to G Bar again, this will be 4th visit in 3 weeks.


Being a diehard fan of Apple didn't expect this to happen.
