iCloud Music Library

Hi there,

iTunes keeps telling me that my iCloud music library session has expired and that i need to log back in using my apple ID password when ever i open up iTunes. I never selected iCloud music library and no for some reason I'm constantly being asking to log back in. Even more annoying when ever i click on my music it takes another 30 mins because its loading my iCloud music library. Any help would be appreciated as i can't seem to turn it off as there is nothing preferences (unless I'm not looking correctly) even related to my iCloud music library.

Cheers 🙂

I'm having the same issue in V12.3.1.

The lightning bolt in the cloud symbol only notifies you that you're not signed in - if you do sign in to your iTunes account it spends the next 30-60 minutes 'loading iCloud Music Library...' as per Carrie's screenshot above then nothing happens; you have no access to your own stored music or iCloud music (if you've been foolish enough to use Apple Music or iCloud Music).

Does anyone have any idea on how to turn this feature off completely, the check box in preferences has gone from this version?

Not true: This icon means that your iCloud Music Library is inaccessible. There might be a connection issue between iTunes and the iTunes Store, or you might have too many items saved to iCloud Music Library*. You also might notice that your songs appear in light gray text. Why is it foolish to use Apple music? The OP is using Apple music!!

Clicking on thunderbolt icon often corrects the connection.
