I cannot export my iPhoto slideshow to iTunes or YouTube.

Select your slideshow and press the "Export" button to render a video file and save it to a folder on your Desktop.

Then upload the video file to YouTube using the web browser.

In iTunes use "File > Add to library" to import the video.

When you begin the export process you'll be shown this window:

Select the format you want and export to the Desktop. Then follow léonie's directions for adding to YouTube. The slideshow will already be in iTunes.

There is no feature to directly export from iPhoto to iTunes. That option is in iMovie. So you'll need to export to the desktop first and then upload that.

Do versions of iPhoto earlier than 9.6.1 not have the Send to iTunes option in the export window?

No. I can't recall it in any version, only in iMovie. But maybe I'm confused... been known to happen.

Just checked my wife's iMac running iPhoto 9.4.3 and that option is there also.
