If i delete my facebook account from my iphone settings to add a new one will my old account still be accesible or deactivated completely From online?

The name on iphone setting for my facebook doest not match. It only says delete account and i want to delete the account from my settings but still have it on my app. My information is different. It will not let me change my name in the settings on my phone.
NO its my account. The name just didnt update from facebook to my phone settings. It wont allow me to do anything but delete the entire thing from settings or change the password. I just dont want to delete it and my accound be deactivated from Facebook. No one i ask knows it it will just delete it from my phone setting or from both settings and facebook itself. I dont want to lose my account i just want it delet d from my phone settings.
Then you need to delete the app and re-download it and then sign onto it with your ID. On your phone, find the Facebook app, press down on it until it wiggles, then click on the "x" to delete it. Then download it again and sign in with your ID. As I indicated in my first response to you - it will have no affect on your Facebook account on Facebook itself.

Deleting the account from the iPhone Settings will not deactivate the account form Facebook. It will just remove it from the iPhone.
Remove it, and then sign back in. This should update the name if it really is you account.
It only removes the app that accesses your Facebook account....

SO i will just have to download facebook again? I just need to name on my setting to match my facebook. My ex put his last name and i want it off of my settings.
I'm not sure what you are referring to? When you download the Facebook app, you sign into your Facebook account using your Facebook sign in....

The name in settings comes from the Facebook account. If it does not show your name it is because it's probably signed on to his account. Just sign out, and sign in with yours.
