I need to change profile picture that shows up while playing podcast downloaded from itunes.
Select the episode. Use Get Info (Ctrl+I) > Artwork tab to delete or replace the current artwork.

Thank you for your help but my problem is that when I play a podcast in my car I don't see the artwork on the screen. what I see is a profile picture associated with my itunes account. So how do I replace or delete this picture?
Oh, I've no idea. I don't have an in car system. Is it only podcasts and all podcasts? Where else do you see this image? You say it is associated with your iTunes account, where exactly and have you tried to change it there?
