Unexpected font change
Unexpected font change for all browsers after upgrading to OS X El Capitan (10.11.1) as shown in the attached image.

That font is a free one your got from da fonts, or somewhere like that, I would bet.
The problem solved, the following fonts were caused this issue.

That doesn't make sense. Those are standard math fonts installed by OS X on every computer for years now already, and nobody else has a problem with them.
But these fonts makes problem for me, anyway, my issue was gone.
I really believe that somewhere on your Mac, is a free (badly made) font, that is interfering with the STIX font, which is an extremely well designed font.
Free fonts are built on top of legitimate font, skipping the crucial initial development part.
Let's just hope you never need the STIX font.
I notice that the css for the truelancer site has the browser download a webfont called Open Sans. I wonder if that has some connection...
I had looked through the source code, too. Most of the fonts appear to be web fonts.
I would have to imagine removing the Stix fonts forced the OS to rebuild the font cache files, thereby fixing the problem. But I've never in my life seen corrupt font cache data cause a font to move all of its baselines around. They usually just won't display, or the OS will substitute either a different font, or display the LastResort font.
