contacts gone!
my contacts on my mini mac are gone. they are still on my iPhone. do I have a virus?
Mac mini (Late 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10)
There are no know virus on a Mac.
Do y have iCloud contacts turned on?

my contacts are all there on the cloud. I can't see a way of turning on iCloud in contacts on my mini mac.
- Open "System Preferences"
- Open the "iCloud" preference pane
- If not already logged in to iCloud, do so with the SAME iCloud account you use on your iPhone
- Lastly, make sure that "Contacts" is enabled (selected)
I just noticed mini mac is OS X 10-11-1, and iPhone is on 9.0.2, would that be the issue?
contacts are ticked on iCloud on my mini mac. this is all I see when I open iCloud drive on my iPhone....
iCloud drive is for files, not "services" like Contacts, Calendar and some other things.
On the iPhone go to Settings>iCloud. Is Contacts checked?
On the Mini in Contacts>Accounts iCloud us the enabled box checked?
