Oh...

A significant number of folks reported problems with wifi and ios 8.x. You may want to upgrade to ios 9.x.

Look through this thread around pages 90 to 130.

  • by Alicool.Rizwa. None of these were a perminant fix. Might work for awhile.
    1. forget and rejoin network.

    3. Restart my router
    4. Change my router
    5. Change the channal of my router

    To Enable QoS:

    Go to your router settings,

Advanced -> Setup -> QoS -> Enable WMM

Enable both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz

  • Change what band your router uses. Many have found 2.4Ghz works best.

  • This set of solutions if for Mac OS X, but the underlaying wifi software is the same on ios, so they may work too. http://www.iphonetopics.com/osx-yosemite-wifi-issues/
