Window Size on Launch

Calendar reverts to a window, upon launch, that is about half size of screen. I have maximized it, dragged the window larger, min and max it, done every type of resizing but it never relaunches to any other window size than this same half screen crunched up window.

Calendar is pretty weak as it is, but now it cannot even remember window state. Any ideas on how to make it remember window size/position/state across lunches?
