Why do you not add Procreate app in testing apps package in Apple Store ?

Hello,

I was planning to buy the new iPad Pro, essentially for drawing purpose but I'd really like to test it before. I'm using Procreate which is one of the most advanced drawing App on iPad and which is specially designed for the iPad Pro. Moreover, you use it in your advertising !

Why this App is not available in Apple Store ? 😢

You should really clarify this statement. It leads me to beloive that you are using it on your iPad already. If you are, then it is available in the App Store.

Not all apps in the App Store are available like in every country. Where do you live?

Hi Demo,

Sorry if I was not clear in my previous post but, yes, indeed, I am already using the Procreate app on my current iPad and I am using it with the Adonit Jot Touch 4 pencil.

And this is why I am so interested in the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil which seems to offer a really better solution to draw on mobile device.

So, I would like to test your new Pencil with my favorite app in an Apple Store (and by Apple Store, I mean the physical shop).

And, to answer to your second question, I am living in Paris and I went to the Apple Store of Opera.

I Think you know this but just in case, nobody here works for Apple. We are volunteer users just like you. Nobody here can answer why Apple does what they do. Did you ask somebody in the Apple a store about trying out the pencil with the app?

Arg, sorry Demo, this was my first post on the forum and you was well inspired to mind me that nobody here works for Apple because I thoughts that at least some people from Apple read the forum owned on there domain... :/

And, yes, I ask this to some guys from Apple in the store, and they agreed that this is strange but also said me they do not have any choice on the apps available in the store, saying me that this is choosen by the US entity. Moreover they advice me to ask this on the Apple site... Well, it seems I am in the wrong place.

More than likely they advised to ask here to see if anyone could give you feedback on the specific app and how well it works with the hardware you are interested in, NOT to get that specific app installed on demo machines. That isn't something anyone here could assist you with. And honestly demo specific apps on demand isn't a realistic expectation for the store.

Have you sought out any information from the app vendor? The app store description specifically states it has been updated to work with the Pro and Pencil.
