I understand what you want to do and it isn't possible without syncing Safari bookmarks from the iPad to Safari on your computer and then import them into Firefox on the computer, then sync them to to Firefox on the iPad.

Actually there is another way and that would be to open the web page that is bookmarked in Safari, then copy the address, and paste it into the url field in Firefox, launch the webpage in Firefox and then save it as a bookmark in Firefox.

That could take quite a bit of time if you have numerous bookmarks in Safari.

I couldn't find any good solution for this, either.

I use another third party web browser for years and have scads of saved bookmarks.

When Firefox became available for iOS and I installed it, I was really looking forward to it looking and feeling more like standard computer version of FireFox.

It is NOTHING like the regular version of FireFox!

I think it kinda ***** and the Mozilla devs on the mobile version really "screwed the pooch" on the whole look and feel on iOS.

I really do not like it at all.

Without an ability to easily import bookmarks from other browsers, it looks like I'll either be NOT using it OR be dumping FireFox for iOS until the Mozilla devs can do a LOT better web browser than this.

I use Perfect Web browser and it has a LOT more functionality and acts and feels more like a normal computer standard web browser than any other third party web browsers I have tried from time to time.
