Open System Preferences --> Security & Privacy. At the bottom, where it says "Allow apps downloaded from," make sure it's set to "Mac App Store and identified developers." You'll need to click on the padlock at the bottom of the pane and input your admin password in order to make any changes to it.

Also, I would advise you to get rid of Google Chrome. Google's shady privacy shenanigans aside, it's a massive RAM hog. It requires "helper" applications, and more than five sometimes, in order to run, and it's an unnecessary strain on your computer's resources. If you don't like Safari for whatever reason, download Firefox.

yeah but these both just appeared out of no where.. here is the updated etrecheck

Hello again DJ_Inferno,

EtreCheck is designed to provide a snapshot of your entire machine. If you are having a problem, then it might show where the problem lies. Then again, it might also show that your problem isn't related to some "clean up", adware, or scam-ware software. That will save a lot of time tracking down said problem.

If you are having a specific problem, then describe what it is. Some of those red entries that come and go might not be anything to worry about. But posting your EtreCheck report might show some other problem that you weren't aware of, like Gatekeeper being turned off.

In this case, lacking any other specific problem, GateKeeper is the only issue worth doing anything about. The postfix entry was just a bug in that ancient version of EtreCheck. The logd failure is just fairly normal these days.
