I changed the songs i have checked to sync on my iphone and it won't change the songs on my phone.
You have changed the songs you have checked where? iTunes? Did you update the selected music to sync on the Music Device Profile tab and then sync?

Music device profile?
When you open iTunes, and click on your device, you see a sidebar with Info, Music, Photos, Books, etc.
Select the Music option, and you will see a screen to the right that has a "Sync Music" option, one of which is sync selected songs, albums, artists, etc.
When you select that box, you then select the music you want sync'd.

I believe so I see the songs i want checked and says the total song amount i want but its not showing up on my iphone.
