AApple and iTunes won't accept my iCloud email address as my Apple ID when I want to download an app. They want a valid email address and iCloud is the only one I have.

When you create an Apple ID, you need to have a valid e-mail address.

An iCloud e-mail address is given to you free.

After that you cannot use that iCloud e-mail address as your sole Apple ID.
