Beware of this site. I also started getting emails, thinking they were associated with Apple. I made the mistake of ordering from them -- 3 10’ lightning cables for $30 (plus shipping). None worked and they are not refundable. Hope they didn't damage my iPad or computer. There are no reviews or ratings, although they have a FB page, where they control the posts. Don't buy anything from them.

iDrop is an solid site for Apple News, How-To's, Reviews, etc.
Looking closely, their webstore is operated by StackCommerce which means products are drop-shipped directly from vendors. I am personally subscribed to their newsletter and notifications because I want to be kept in the loop on all things Apple. I have also purchased from the store in the past. Aside from a longer lead time (about one week longer than expected), I'd buy again.
There are no signs of issues I have experienced in the last three years I have been following them. The content is quite good actually.
Cheers,
Presumably it is related to this site: http://www.idropnews.com/ No obvious signs of problems with that site, but if you didn't intentionally sign up for their newsletter then I'd probably not trust any links it contains.

Wow!!! Was just getting ready to buy that 3 pack thinking it was genuine Apple! Last sec said let me make dang sure it is. Read your post. THANKS! Didn't order.
But why don't you dispute it on your credit or debit card? Doesn't work you can def get your money back that way!
I started getting emails from them too! Not sure when I signed up but its cool I really like the site.. I learned a lot about my iPhone from the tips section and the videos are really informative too
Even though their website says no refunds, they did credit my PayPal account. so at least I got my money back. But I fear they are like groupon, you get what you pay for and are lucky if it works.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I was just about to do the same thing.
Don't buy anything from this site. Their "apple certified" charging cords for iPhone do not work. I just blew $30 on junk.
