After upgrading (successfully) to 12.3.1 the update service checks for updates and says I need to upgrade to 12.3.1

I am stuck in a endless loop. I download and install 12.3.1 and then the update service checks for new updates and says I need 12.3.1. iTunes says my version is 12.3.1.23 64 bit.

Thanks in advance for any help.

This seems to be happening to quite a few people. Hopefully it will be resolved with the next true new release.
