applenews.tech attack
In Safari on iPad IOS 9.1 my screen is locked by a website called applenews.tech and it seems to be some kind of fake. How could I exit from it? I've tried to restart the iPad but that doesn't help

Navigate to Settings/ tap Safari / select Clear History and website data
If it does not help your router may be hacked. See Check the instructions on this page : http://www.thesafemac.com/how-to-manage-a-hacked-wireless-router/

Try double clicking the home button and swiping the Safari preview up to force close it. If the same website reloads double click the home button again. This time try tapping the two squares in the upper right corner before the page reloads. If you're quick youcan delete the thumbnail by tapping the tiny x.
If the above doesn't work go to settings> Safari> Clear history and website data.
Thank you. Easy when you know how to do it 🙂
You are welcome.
I have noticed attack on my VM by 192.168.1.16
Cannot access youtube, and barely any other websites. Please help! it looks like DDoS attack.
How do I protect my Mac against this attack?
I have malware protection on my mac Bitdefender, however obviously does not help in the case.
Have detected malware with Detect Safe Browsing from AppStore
