I recently bought a used iphone 4 running on iOS 7.1.2. Th phone was activated with apple id xxxxxxxxx@hotmail.com. I was given password by the seller to deactivate from above mentioned apple id later on. PASSWORD: xxxxxxxx Unfortunately i mistakenly entered the above password and got locked out before i could proceed further. I am unable to contact the seller since he is unreachable at the moment. I would be grateful if any one of you could help me out in this regard. Kashif

yes it has. since i am the legitimate owner i got the password from the seller to deactivate the lock. But during the process i entered the password wrong due to which i am getting message that "apple id is disabled due to security reason". Previous owner is unreachable and i can not contact him. I hope if apple support team could help me out?

You didn't get correct password from the seller he/she misled you. Apple does not interfere with ownership situations, legal entity in your country is the only one that can discuss ownership rights with you. Report that person to police. Reason I know that person lied is - no reasonable person would give you password for their apple id if they can do that themselves and he/she could do that online on icloud.com site.
