I have 2 new Tamron lenses. Photos is mis-identifying them as Sigma. At least on one of them, it is the same "size" as the Tamron (150-600), but for the 70-200mm 2.8, it is completely wrong, calling it a Sigma A 24-105 mm f/4 DG OS HSM. How to correct in the Photos app?

that information is written in the Photos EXIF/IPTC data by the camera - you can edit it with an EXIF editor but to correct it you need to have the camera write the correct data into the EXIF/IPTC fields - this is not a feature of Photos - it only reads and reports what the camera puts there

Hmmmm, I'll look into it. That said, same card imported to Lightroom 6, IDs the lens correctly.
