How to restore storage space after downloading a file from Safari

When I downloaded a .zip file and put it into an app called FileMaster extracted it and put those files into another app. I deleted all of those apps but my space went down about 1.0 GB. I tried using PhoneClean to remove junk but there was not much junk.

Hi jordanlucero22,

Thanks for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

See the information in Check your storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch for help with finding out what might be taking up the storage space on your iPhone.

For example, try these steps for Safari:

Tap Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage.

You'll see a list of your apps, and how much storage each one uses. Tap an app for more detailed information about its usage.

Depending on the app, you might be able to delete some of its content, or delete the app and all of its content. If your device is almost full, or you get a Storage Almost Full alert, remove some less-used content.

Sincerely.
