iPad, iPencil and Paper 53 app

When watching the intro for the iPencil and new iPad Pro there is a little display for the Paper 53 app which would naturally make one assume you can use the iPencil with this app but you can't as far as I can find. It seems to be a nice app but you have to buy their pencil, which I did because its pretty cool in the fact that the wood colored one is magnetic and will stick to your iPad cover and it also has an eraser like a real pencil! I suppose this is not really a question but a statement. Apple you shouldn't make an advert on the main page for the product and app if you can't actually use the product with the app. If I'm mistaken I apologize and wish someone would tell me how to use the iPencil in that app! Thanks!
