My iPhone 5c screen seems too sensitive. Screens pop open on there own. Is there a way to adjust sensitivity?

I just received a refurbished iPhone 5c as a replacement device.

It seems like the touch screen is too sensitive. If I try to scroll down a page in FaceBook, pages open, I get put in search, etc.

Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity? This is the second refurb unit with this problem. My original iPhone did not have this problem.
