LG Magic Remote and Apple TV
Is there any way to get the "Magic Remote" in an LG-OLED TV to control Apple-TV?

Howdy!
Using an OLED55B7P here. All I had to do was, on the LG Magic Remote, click the gear icon (to show Settings), then go "All Settings" > "General" > "SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC)".
From there, just set it to "On", and it started working just fine with my Apple TV.
Note that you PROBABLY want to disable "Auto Power Sync" (also in the SIMPLINK config screen), otherwise, when you turn the TV off, it will also turn the Apple TV off.
Good luck!
Have you tried to find the info on pairing your remote on the LG website ?
If you can not find the info on the LG website, you could try contacting LG.
LG website no help whatever.
Thank you

Thanks again. Had already tried both/ Although the OLED TV is great, their customer service/support is chaotic -- at best.
Worked for me, thanks! 🙂
That's working for me as well. Given that the Magic Remote has a microphone, I wonder if it could be used to invoke Siri?

Just exit the device setup after choosing “unknown”
