Does the old T-Tip charger have more durability and convenience than the old L-Tip charger?

I'm trying to decide if I should keep the T-Tip charger. I used to have the L-Tip charger for my Macbook 15' 2011, but I switched to the T-Tip charger and I think it's a little incovenient to have the charge sticking out from the side as I like to lean my laptop on its side sometime. I've also been through several L-Tip charges and they don't seem very durable. What do you think?

I have 4 chargers that I use, one T connector and the others, L connector. I cannot sat that I have noticed and functional or durability differences between the two configurations. As with you, mine is a very small sample.
