How do I cancel my iCloud account and reload all my photos back on my
I-Pad?

If you are syncing through Photos, the photos should be on your iPad. Go to Settings/iCloud and sign out. Then go to Photos and see if the Photos are there. iCloud is a syncing system, not a storage system.
I am a simple I-Pad user. I don't know what "syncing thru photos" means. I have been told at the local Apple Store that when I upgraded to ios 8, I must have opened an I-Cloud account and allowed transfer of my photos to my new I-Cloud account in error (I didn't know what I was doing). Now every time I look at photos I have to wait for each to load, allegedly because they are in the cloud and it takes an instant to download from that remote storage. How do I reverse this and transfer all my photos back to my I-Pad?
Try Settings/iCloud and slide off Photos syncing.
Are you certain I will not lose my photos in doing this?
