I just bought and Apple Watch and Power Beats wireless headphones because i want to be able to answer calls with a tap on my watch and then have the call come through the headphones. The lovely girl in the Apple Store said this could be done.
I have the headphones paired to the watch, but when a call comes and I answer it with the watch it just comes through the watch speaker, not the headphones. Do i need to do something different?

In order to use your headphones for phone calls, they need to be paired instead to your iPhone (not to your Apple Watch).

The issue is I want to be able to tap my Apple watch to answer the call, rather than having to pick up my iPhone or fiddle with the (headphone answer button which i can never find in a hurry).
Are you telling me this can't be done? If so, this would seem like quite an oversight, as i thought the idea of the Apple Watch was to be able to easily interact with iPhone functions without needing to get you phone out.
The feature that you have described is not currently available.

PowerBeats Wireless headsets are very nice. I use them for listening to music while running. They are not, however, my first choice answering phone calls. I much prefer my BlueAnt Q3. Like many headsets that are designed primarily for talking on the phone, it has a nice big button for answering but, even better, it will allow me to answer by voice after it gives me the caller ID information.
Just answer the phone with the headphones. To answer the phone you only have to click the center button.

I prefer to answer by voice on the headset I use for phone calls, but thanks for the suggestion.

It's really very cool. Gives me the caller ID, then gives me the option to "Answer" or "Ignore".
