Lens Correction for RAW photos

On Photos.app, when I import RAW photos taken using a Sony FE 28/2 lens, it is obvious that lens correction on distortion is handled automatically by Apple.

However, I can't be sure if this is the case for all lens (or what lens). I wonder if Apple has a list showing what lens correction are supported for what lens? It is increasingly common that digital camera lens are designed while relying on automatic lens distortion correction (e.g. FE 28/2, Zeiss BATIS 85/1.8), so lens correction capabilities for RAW files processing will be an important factor.

I am using El Capitan, Photos.app 1.1.
