Drop down menu reference from another sheet

Good morning

I need some advice - expertise.

I need a drop down menu of names ( 50 ), and need to reference those names from a different sheet. I have several rows and want to pull those names into different cells, rather than type those names individually.

Your input and advise is greatly appreciated.

I am currently using Numbers 3.6.1 and OS X Yosemite.

Thank you.

Numbers has two main ways to provide a list of values when entering data.

One is the Pop-up Menu Data Format.

Another is auto-complete or auto-suggest (or various other names), which is activated by checking 'Show suggestions when editing table cell s' Numbers > Preferences:

Once that is checked, Numbers will suggest values when you enter data in a column of cells.
