Bootcamp won't address my 4TB hard drive.

The Bootcamp I have installed on my iMAC won't address a hard drive larger than 2.5 TB. Is there a newer version that will or some other similar program that I can use on the iMAC in both MAC and PC modes?

Hey t loner... i got a very

Important question... im cloning my windows 7 into the external hdd. My imac is a late 2010 21inch imac. Does 1TB on MBR format and NTFS support it? Being a 32 bit cloning from a windows pc? Is it possible for the imac to boot the MBR NTFS 1TB clone from windows 7? I did alot of research but i made it into efi before. But whenever i was in the boot screen, i clicked the efi booter and it got frozen on GPT. So my question is.. if its MASTER BOOT RECORD. Will it work on the imac natively? Or will it freeze like GPT? I tried all GPT Features on the 1TB and windows 8.1 and 10 got problems because the system kept saying i had to be on windows 7. (When installing the setup of the bootcamp) so its stressful when it comes to MBR & GPT

If it is the disk on which BC/Windows is not installed, it can be supported. What is the format/partition scheme of the disk? Do not use FAT, because it does not support more than 2TB. Try to format it as NTFS on a GPT disk.

From the OS X side, connect this disk to your Mac, and in OS X Terminal run the following two commands.

diskutil list

diskutil info diskN (N should point to the 4TB disk obtained from the previous command)
