Hi,
if one buys Apple products at the Malaysian Apple Online store is the GST removed if the shipping address is on Langkawi, the GST free Island?
The big online seller Lazada does this standard, but does Apple store do this too?
Needles to say that 6% TAX discount on Apple products is great saver!

We are not Apple, only end users like you and not permitted to speculate on Apple's policies. You will need to use a corporate contact from your country from the "Contact Us" link a the bottom of any Apple web page.
Logic would tell one that any tax would be applied according to the tax law of the country (and area) FROM where the item was SOLD.

That's not always the case in the USA! Buy something from Hawaii and you will find you are not paying the Hawaiian tax unless there is one of their stories in your state. And the tax laws read something else on the matter.
I do not know about Langkawi, Malaysia?
Tax application in the US for online sales can be dependent on the tax laws of the state you are located in, and also dependent on whether or not the online sales merchant has a physical location in the state where you are making the purchase from. There has been work in the states to try and change this to where all online merchants must charge sales tax, and report these sales and deliver the sales tax to the states, but that is stalling. The problem with that is that many counties and municipalities have additional tax rates, so it gets very complicated.
