Will Apple fix Nikon tethering with El Capitan?

In upgrading to El Capitan, I have lost the ability to tether in Adobe Lightroom with my Nikon camera. This is a very inconvenient.

I have not heard anything more about a plan to fix this and can't believe these 3 powerful companies (apple, adobe and nikon) are leaving us hanging.

Is there a way to ask Apple directly if they plan to fix this? After all, they did break it!

According to Adobe, Lightroom CC 2015.2 or Lightroom 6.2 is only supported for OS X 10.9 or later. Nikon recommends View NX 2 (including File Transfer 2) for use with all newer Nikon cameras, and newer computers. And here is the Apple Digital Camera Raw support in El Capitanending Oct 2015.

Adobe and Nikon have access to Apple's OS X SDK at the same time that other vendors do. Whether they produce compatible products for El Capitan in a timely fashion, or decide not to update older products is solely at their discretion, and timeframe.

Apple did redesign the USB subsystem in OS X 10.11.2. How Adobe and Nikon plan to manage this is up to them, and may be posted on their respective forums.

Does Apple's Digital Camera Raw or the new iPhone support tethering for Nikon?

When Apple couldn't figure out the problems on my Macbook 2012 version, they suggested upgrading to El Capitan. Now it's not so easy to go back to Yosemite because my computer didn't come with it.

Can you direct me to easiest way to go back to Yosemite?

Restore from a backup done prior to your upgrade to El Capitan.
