Iphone 6 stuck in Recovery Mode

Is anyone familiar with getting iphones that are stuck in recovery mode, out of recovery mode. I attempted to update my iphone 6 to ios 9.2 today. the phone went through the entire update process and once it got to the verification step, it said, "update failed" error 53. Multiple attempts to recover the phone in recovery mode have failed. in fact if the phone is off, and i plug it in, the phone automatically boots itself up into recovery mode. i have also had attempts at the update with the result of "iphone can not be found" its almost as if itunes wiped everything off the phone, and wont put anything back onto it. Im wondering if it is an issue with my computer being a 32 bit PC. Itunes has also done this same stuck in recovery mode thing to my old iphone 5c. Yes my itunes is fully up to date, as is the PC. All antivirus software and firewall has been disabled. Still getting error 53 or iphone not found. Any suggestions? or do i know own $1500 dollars worth of apple labled paper weights?
