Using FaceTime HD camera to make video

I&#x27;m on a desktop iMac 10.8 Mountain Lion.  If I make a short video in Photo Booth 5.0.1,  what resolution will FaceTime HD Camera film the video in?  I&#x27;m told by an Apple Support tech that FaceTime HD camera films 1280 X 720.  But then after I film the video, I export it to my desktop and it shows up as a QuickTime MOV movie, which is fine, except when I look at the Movie Inspector for the format, size, FPS, etc., it tells me the current size is 720 X 480.  I need to upload the movie I made with my FaceTime camera to a site that recommends the resolution be 1280 X 720 for best quality.  I don&#x27;t have another separate HD video camera to use.  Does anyone have any info about this?
