Beats Studio headphones keeps losing bluetooth connection

I am having this same exact issue with an iPhone 6 Plus and an iPhone 5. I'll be in Music, and when I switch from one song to another, the Bluetooth connection drops. I have to turn off the headphones and re-pair. I also have an iMac, and haven't had this problem with it, so I'm thinking it's something in the phones.

I'm having the same issue when I change songs. Just tried to run the firmware update but it says "Your software is up to date". The version installed is 1.1.15 and I bought them shortly after they were released in December 2013 so I know there is an update. Apple Support said that my version was the latest version but after some prodding they admitted that 1.2.99 was the newest version, but offered no solution as to how I could get mine to update to that version.

I might try my luck at the Apple store. Anybody else unable to update theirs?

I have the exact same issue. Apple will not resolve nor acknowledge the issue that they created. I am currently writing the corporate office. Perhaps we should start a new thread about this particular issue. The senior rep told me that the headphones we have are actually 2nd generation and that I would have to pay for new headphones if the firmware could not be upgraded. I told her that solution was BS and they were unwilling to help further. The right thing for them to do would be to stand behind their 380 USD product and replace them free of charge.

To fix this all you need to do is install the latest firmware from the website.
