I've Successfully Updated to Windows 10
I have a Mac Mini late 2014 with Windows 8.1 fully update it was already installed with boot camp. I kept getting the Windows 10 Compatibility error because of Intel Iris 5100 graphics adapter.
This was a method of trial and error and jumbles of methods put together. But don't give up I will post my links and the articles I used for reference.
1. Force windows to download

The first method worked for me and I was able to get Windows 10 to download in Windows update.
2. Delete files

This video showed me where to go to delete the files in software distribution and also to download the media tool.
At this point I was tired of fighting with it and went to bed. So the next morning I continued to mess around and incorporating other things I've seen people tried. I restarted the comp. I checked and saw that the files in the Software distribution>download folder was still deleted, but windows had conveniently reinstalled my graphics driver.
I uninstalled in control panel the intel update driver
I ran "Device Manager" with admin rights. Under Display Adapter I uninstalled and made sure I checked the "Delete all files..." option and DO NOT RESTART. I then changed my time to exactly 1 month and 4 hours ahead
the Media tool again and while that was running. I opened "Command Prompt" with admin privilage and manually ran windows 10 compatibility appraiser

and amazingly it started installing.🙂
No compatibility error.
It loaded and I agreed to the terms and conditions.
When it restarted. I made sure I was there so that it would boot to the right partition or you can set your boot menu to windows so you dont have to worry about that. I'm excited. I've been searching all night for a solution and I found one so I'm sharing the wealth. Let me know if this works for you guys. I'm hoping to make alot of people happy.
