I want to make it look like the star wars intro where the logo appears. Should i use that animation or is there a better one?

I am not exactly sure I understand what you are trying to do, but it appears that you want to have the title zoom out into the distance.
The built-in 3D titles do not have the Z position published, so it is not trivial with them.
You could open a copy in Motion and publish the Z position, but there is perhaps an easier way.
Rippletraining has a bunch of 3D title collections, which build on the original ones and provide a whole lot more options.
One of those is free: Ripple 3D Animations.
Using any of those, it is trivial to do the sort of Start Wars intro by disabling all the animations and simply making two keyframes for the Z position, at the start and end.
Thank you for responding.. The basic 3D title allows you to have the title zoom out into the distance. The only problem is that it stops in the middle for a few seconds. I want to make it so that it doesn't stop and it is continous. Can I do that within Final Cut Pro X or should I try your other options? Thank you.
Using Ripple 3D Animations it is trivially simple, so that is what I'd go with.
For example, using "Super Fade" (any other of the titles in the Ripple 3D Animations would do, as well):
I turned "Build In" and "Build Out" OFF:
Moved the playhead to the beginning, added a keyframe and set the value of Z in "Position" to an appropriate value:
Move the playhead to the end of the clip, and adjust Z. Done.
Is there a way to do this for free?
I figured it out! I just used a basic title and used ken burns effect!
