Kodax ESP C315 Printer issue since El Capitan getting a Filter Fail error message.

Hi I downloaded El Capitan onto my Mac and since then I have been unable to print from the Mac using my Kodak ESP C315 printer. All I am getting is Filter Fail error messages. Need help please.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), iOS 9.2

Filter failed errors began showing up in Yosemite (10.10.x), because Apple changed the default locations of print system files (driver components).

You need an updated driver from Kodak.

Someone who's familiar with CUPS (printing system in OS X) might be able to move files or "link" them to make the driver work.

No Kodak product is on the list of printers officially supported in OS X. As far as I know, this is the most recent software for Kodak all-in-one devices. If it doesn't work for you, please see below.

Kodak has posted an unsupported hack that has been reported to enable printing to a Kodak printer not supported in OS X 10.10 ("Yosemite") or later. Perhaps it would have the same effect with some other kinds of printers that aren't supported in Yosemite.

I have not tested the hack myself. As far as I know it will not break the compatibility of printing software that is already compatible with Yosemite. It may degrade the security of the printing system. It's up to you to decide whether that risk is worth taking.
