iMovie won't let me add more than one audio track!?

Hi,

I am trying to create a photo slideshow, but want music with it too. I have 5 tracks, but iMovie won't let me add them to where they play in the sequence I add them. When I add them all, it tried to play all of them at once, and I can't find a way to add the 2nd track for example at the end of the first one and so fort with a fade transition, or something similar for sound files.

Does anyone know why it won't let me and how do I fix this?

You have to drag and drop each audio track under the clip at the position in the timeline where you want it to start. The connection (green vertical line will then connect to that clip). An example:

Well, I did try that, except that it will not add the next track the end of the previous one. It puts it under it, and when hitting "play" it plays both at once. I've been trying to drag and drop for the last hour and its not doing it.
