ipod touch 6th gen won't show up in itunes

So I got a ipod touch 6th gen , brand new today. I have a bunch of songs on my computer I wanna put on it but the ipod won't show up in itunes.

I'm running Windows 10, the newest version of itunes and I have tried restarting the ipod and computer several times in order to set it up. I deleted the apple driver, put it into every usb port I have, reset all dialogue warnings, reset the settings on the ipod and erased all content and started over and still nothing.

I think the problem lies in the fact that I have not been prompted to trust the computer. I think I might have been but the text was gone too quickly so I'm not sure if I clicked yes or no. Does anybody have any idea what to do?
