Storage question on Apple TV (4th Gen) downloading new screen savers

Hey guys,

I couldn't really find an answer out there on a question about the storage on the new ATV4.

The new Ariel screensavers are awesome. As most of you know there is a new option to download new videos daily, weekly, ect..

Just below it does warn you that downloads can take up to 600mb of storage. Considering I have the 32gb model, I was curious to see exactly how that works. There is no place in the general settings that show any of the actual downloaded screensaver files for the purpose of manually deleting them to free up storage.

Are the old screensaver replaced with the new ones as they are downloaded? Or am I racking up 600mb every day a new screensaver downloads? If anyone has any info or tips, i'd really appreciate it. Thanks guys!

Happy New Year to everyone

YEs, each screensaver is roughly ~200mb. So if you choose daily every day roughly 3 new vids are added and the 3 from yesterday are replaced. Monthly means you get the same videos all month. There is no "user management" for storage on the ATV. The issue is some poeple have data limits and don't want to use their allowance for a daily screensaver change...

yes, thats correct. As new clips are added, the old ones disappear but could be downloaded again tomorrow. I am not sure what the rhyme/reason is for what vids they choose or why/when... I am hopeful for the time sense - would love for the video being played to correlate to my local time of day! If you have a mac you can use them there and have more control...
