Does it matter if I use DDR3 or DDR3L in 27" iMac 5k (Late 2015)?

Hello everyone! Thanks in advance for your help!

My question:

Does it matter if I use DDR3 RAM in my new iMac (iMac17,1) or does it need to be DDR3L? Crucial says DDR3L but the Apple website just says DDR3L. (I know the speed, etc that I need, I'm just wondering about the difference between DDR3 and DDR3L). I know the L is more compact. Does it matter in the iMac?

There is a voltage difference where DDR3L uses a lower voltage than DDR3. It shouldn't make much difference which you use, but it's always best to use that which meets the Apple specs which just atate DDR3. That's what you should use. Resources are:
